I joined the most amazing summer camp this summer. I hated it when my mom signed me up cuz i thought i would be the youngest there, but it turned out there were quite a few my age. In this camp we had an overnight trip, and we were camping outside in tents and we made smores by the fire. It was awesome! We only stayed for one night though, thats what sucks. But that one night was the best. We were playing capture the flag and manhunt until midnight and when we fell asleep it was 1 pm. I was sharing with three girls from camp, I didn't like them at first but they turned out to be pretty fun. On that camping trip I made a lot of new friends, it was great! And we went swimming in the university pool whenever we had free time.


We had to watch and observe and evaluate a counsellor and tell our counsellor how they did, then we had to teach the group of the counsellor that we evaluated a game and they evaluated us. It was stressful when my counsellor kept watching me but she smiled as I taught them, so I knew that I couldn't have done that bad. At the end of the summer camp, we had a theme day and we had to dress up as a superhero -__-"" , I was rogue... Anyway we taught kids from 6 - 13 games that our group made up (we were split in 7 groups).That was pretty fun even though our group messed up the first lesson and the counsellors were looking at us all funny. Some of the costumes that the kids wore were hilarious and some were cool.
And apparently in the gym next to us said that a kid jumped to avoid a ball and did a somersault in mid- air and lay flat on his stomach on the floor when he landed. Everyone was laughing at what he did, but when they realized that he hadn't got up they all shut up, and were like "oh shit." When the counsellor and one of the guys who were teaching the game went to see if the kid was okay, he shot his hand up in the air and did the peace sign and they saw his face. His face was like "yeah."


This summer I'm also starting to learn the violin that I've been wanting to learn for like 2 years. It's pretty difficult at first, but I think it's pretty fun to learn. It hurts the arm like hell, but practice makes perfect . I've only learned for like 3 weeks so I'm seriously a beginner. Hehehe....


Even though my mom didn't take me to China this is still one of my favourite summers. Everyone have a great summer!!
